Forgetting volcanoes to think about the future

At 60 pages this isn’t a quick read but it is an informative report on (as the title suggests!) “Digital literacy across the curriculum” With Europe covered by volcanic ash clouds we might just all have to stay at home and read something this size 🙂

The booklet’s own introduction explains the purpose clearly: “This handbook is aimed at educational practitioners and school leaders in both primary and secondary schools who are interested in creative and critical uses of technology in the classroom.” It is available to download in PDF format from http://tinyurl.com/y65qwqv It is also interesting to download the accopanying PDF file of “Digital Literacy in Practice” a collection of practical case studies taken from schools across Britain.
